Her background includes leadership roles — both staff and volunteer — at organizations in the healthcare\, conservation\, social services\, and higher education sectors. \n\n\n\nBeth has experienced board governance from both sides of the table. As a volunteer\, she has served in leadership roles on the board of directors at CASA of Humboldt (including as president and treasurer)\, the League of Women Voters of Humboldt County\, and Wild Souls Ranch\, where she served on the board during an organizational transition. As a nonprofit management professional\, she has also had the privilege of working alongside high-functioning boards at Six Rivers Planned Parenthood and the Northcoast Regional Land Trust and draws on those experiences for best practices. \n\n\n\nAs founder and principal of Add Lightness Consulting\, Beth partners with small to mid-size nonprofits on board development\, fundraising strategy\, facilitation\, and organizational planning. She has taught nonprofit fund development courses – including course work on board governance – through Cal Poly Humboldt Extended Education and the Northern California Association of Nonprofits. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER
