Heart-Centered Nonprofit Leadership Retreat and Workshop

This half-day, in person retreat and interactive workshop is designed for busy nonprofit Board members, CEOs, and directors who’d like to explore and deepen their practice of leading with heart. Incorporating research, examples of successful practices and tools, our day will offer time for reflection, discussion and testing strategies that can help leaders move from crisis management to managing uncertainty, center purpose and people, and cultivate connection, genuine relationship and trust as a foundation for working with staff and in communities. Arrive early and stay for lunch to enjoy networking with colleagues. Attendees are welcome to share a question or topic they would like to explore when they register.

Lunch will be provided.

Presenter: Ursula Bischoff JD, MSW, PhD

Ursula has extensive experience collaborating with private, nonprofit and public organizations to develop community-led solutions in the fields of education, justice, health and human services, and economic and workforce development. She helps clients build leadership capacity and partnerships, align resources, improve access to programs, and achieve concrete, equitable outcomes. She has run technical assistance and professional development projects for federal, state and local governments, taught master’s level classes in administration, policy and planning and community organizing, and served as a professional project advisor in public policy and social work programs.
