Federal Shifts and Local Impacts: Understanding the Effects of National Policy Changes on Community-Based Nonprofits
The Spring 2025 survey report provided an initial snapshot of how national policy changes were affecting nonprofits in rural Northern California. Conducted in March and April 2025, it revealed early signs of financial strain, program reductions, and deep concern about the stability of essential services across Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.
